Actual-Facts Advertising With Informative Articles
By: Kathryn Ali
Have you ever noticed that when you are really fascinated by something, you just want to know more about it? Thousands and thousands of people surf the internet searching for information every day. They could be looking for information on anything from learning how to play the guitar to how to care for someone who has had a stroke. Therefore, writing your own informative advertising articles is a great method to get the word out about your business, service or product.
The article needs to be informative without using any sales pitch. It is important to make it not appear like a paid advertisement.
In an Expert Advice type of article, the author’s uses his knowledge about a subject to keep readers informed on what is new about the subject field. For example, a garden center may let you know about the new pesticides that are more environmentally safe than previous years. An appliance dealer may offer their view about the newest energy saving appliances that are on the market, which are better than ever on the environment.
Basically, you are establishing yourself to the person reading the article as the latest expert on the subject.
How-To Article:
The how-to article continues to refer to the expert being publicized (including the services or product that is offered. A cosmetics expert might write an article, “Step by Step How-To Apply Make-up”. A computer dealer may offer “4 Tips on How-To Reformat Your Computer”. Both of these articles gives the reader concrete information. They will know where to go to learn more and in a non-pushy/selling way know that it is a business place.
Special talent is needed to present information in an attention, grabbing and persuasive manner but at the same time, you do not want a reader to feel like you are trying to selling anything. Your goal is to make the reader feel that he is being taught something about a subject.
Marketing-Style Writing Article Tips:
>>Learn what your reader’s relates to. Then you will be able to catch their attention on most anything you write about.
>>To have successful advertising articles you need to locate an experienced writer who knows both what the reader is searching for and how to write the article in such a way that it will benefit the customer’s business.
>>When hiring an expert writer, ensure the writer has good references and proof of other articles that you can learn about the writing styles used. You can do a “Google Search” of the writer’s name so you can find out whether the person is legit.
